Triathlon Champion Daniela Ryf Commits To Felt Bicycles For 2021 & Beyond
October 10, 2020
We're excited to announce that four-time Ironman World Champion Daniela Ryf has renewed her partnership with us for three more seasons! The Swiss superstar first joined forces with Felt Bicycles in 2008 and, since then, has gone on to achieve one of the most dominant careers in the history of triathlon.
Ryf won her first Ironman World Championship—the most prestigious title in the sport—in 2015, and then followed up with three more consecutive championships in 2016, 2017, and 2018. In her most recent victory on the big island of Hawaii in 2018, Ryf also set a new overall course record, as well as a new bike course record aboard her Felt IA race bike, both of which she still holds to this day. In addition to her four Ironman world titles, Ryf also won five Ironman 70.3 World Championship titles in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
"I am beyond grateful for the support of Felt Bicycles over the last 12 years, and I'm so excited to extend our partnership for another three years," said Ryf. "This is not only because I believe they make the best bike out there, but I truly appreciate being part of the Felt family. Together we've gone through all of the good and tough times, a lot of sweat, joy, and fun, as well as two Olympics and twelve world championship titles on my Felt bicycle!"
"Daniela Ryf is one of the greatest triathletes of all time," says Jake Duehring, Felt's Director of Sports Marketing. "It's been one of our brand's greatest privileges to have supported Daniela for the past twelve years and done what we can to elevate her speed on the bike. Beyond all of her many achievements, Daniela is a wonderful human being, an incomparable ambassador for the sport of triathlon, and a valued member of the Felt family. We're ecstatic to have the opportunity to work together towards more victories, and to utilize Daniela's experience to fulfill our brand's promise of pushing the boundaries of speed, handling, and performance when it comes to triathlon bikes."
